India is expected to purchase five anti-aircraft missile systems s-400 («Triumph») new generation. Initially, the it could go more than 10 systems, said on Thursday, December 17, the newspaper Hindustan Times.
The contract value will reach 400 billion rupees (6 billion USD), taking into account the purchase of 6 thousand ammunition, notes TASS.
Hindustan Times recalls that a week later, on 24 December, Moscow will host a meeting of Prime Minister Narendra modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Probably, the contract will be discussed at this meeting.
