Early on the morning of February 14, Valentine’s Day, on Rothschild Boulevard in tel Aviv appeared installation glued two thousand business cards advertising sexual services – this time the cards were laid out in the title of a popular song of Stevie Wonder «I Just Called To Say I Love You».
«Every day is Valentine’s Day,» – say the installation created by artist Sasha Kurbatov and Banane Boryan. Girls gather advertising business cards with women’s bodies since October, determined in this festive day I once again remind residents and visitors of the city about the problem of prostitution.
Installation, mounted on Rothschild Boulevard at about 7 a.m., a few hours later it was already removed by employees of the municipal authorities.

Vanne 32 years, she came to Israel from Armenia at the age of 13. Sasha – 29, arrived at the same age from Ukraine. This is not their first collaborative feminist project. Last year, on March 8, Sasha and Banane laid out ten thousand business cards advertising sexual services 50-meter path leading to installation of three-meter vaginas.
«We do not advocate for or against the legalization of prostitution. But when on the ground lie fragments of women’s bodies, and people walk over them – it devalues the treatment of women in our society», – explained then Vanne and Sasha correspondent NEWSru.co.il.
Pimps and prostitutes can not be in Israel to advertise their services legally, so business cards advertising sexual services scattered around the city streets in the hope that they will choose a random customer. Every day residents and guests of tel Aviv and other Israeli cities can see under the feet of these cards.
