Terrorist group Islamic state has ordered shopkeepers and traders in territories under its control to provide prices exclusively in dirhams of the Caliphate.
One dirham is equal to 1.000 Syrian pounds, that is 1 dollar 80 cents. The IG reported that Syrian banknotes of 50 and 1,000 pounds should be withdrawn from circulation by July 25. The rest, apparently, will be accepted for payment.
It should be noted that the territory controlled by «Islamic state» shrinking by the day. The jihadists are stubborn defensive fighting in the capital of the «Caliphate» is raqqa, the Syrian and the Old town of Mosul in Iraq.
