On the eve of the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires (AMIA), which killed 85 people and hundreds of others were injured, Argentine parliamentarians and representatives of 20 other countries signed a letter condemning global terrorism.

On the eve of the French Embassy in Buenos Aires and the Union of Jewish communities of Argentina, DAIA held a rally with the participation of foreign diplomats in the course of which not only denounced terror but also expressed solidarity with the Jewish community of this country.
Among those who signed this letter, a high – ranking diplomats from Belarus, Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic, Chile, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK and USA.
The President of the DAIA Ariel Cohen Saban said in an interview with journalists that series of bloody terrorist attacks in Europe, it seemed, had changed to terror on the European continent: «Today the world understands more than ever need to unite to defeat terror».
