Belgian police raided the house in Brussels and detained a man suspected of involvement in organizing terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November, reports AP.
Belgian law enforcement authorities have not reported who exactly was arrested. It is known that the search occurred late Saturday, December 20, in a house located between the centre of Brussels and Molenbeek district, where he lived the alleged participants and organizers of terrorist attacks in Paris, including Salah Abd al-Salam.
Intelligence agencies believe that the 26-year-old Salah ‘ Abd al-Salam was one of the organizers and participants of the Paris terrorist attacks. Salah Abd al-Salam was born and raised in Brussels, and his 32-year-old brother Ibrahim Abd al-Salam, blew himself up on the Boulevard Voltaire in Paris the evening of November 13. Authorities still do not have any information about where is the terrorist today, but recently the Belgian security services claimed that Salah Abd al-Salam for another two days after the terrorist attacks could be in Brussels, but he managed to escape in connection with the law forbidding the police to invade private homes from 9 PM to 5 am.
