Vice-President Mike Pence will visit Israel in December 2017, announced in the night of Thursday, October 26, representatives of the White house. According to published information, the Pens will arrive in Israel in the days of the holiday Chanukah.
He will hold talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and PNA President Mahmoud Abbas. After a visit to Israel by Vice-President of the United States will travel to Egypt, where he will talk with President Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi.
During his visit to the region Pence will discuss the prospects of advancing the diplomatic process between Israel and the Palestinian authority, as well as issues confront the development of the Iranian nuclear threat and cooperation between Israel and the United States in the development of space research programs.
When visiting Egypt, Vice-President of the United States will raise the issue of persecution of religious minorities in the region, including Christians.
