Adviser on national security and foreign policy of Hungary, Joseph I is on an official visit in Israel. On Tuesday, February 13, he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of the national security Council of Israel, Meir Ben-Shabat.
The press service of the Prime Minister’s office said that the meeting with Netanyahu had discussed the possibility of holding in the coming months in Israel, the summit of heads of governments of the Visegrad group (V4) — Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The press service notes that in July 2017, Netanyahu took part in the work of the V4 summit in Budapest and offered to hold the next meeting of the leaders of the group in Israel.
At the meeting, Meir Ben-Shabat with Hungarian counterpart discussed the developments in the region, cooperation in combating terror, strengthening cooperation in the field of security and other issues.
