Sunday, July 30, in Istanbul held mass protest against the «Israeli occupation of al-Aqsa mosque».
The protest was held under the slogan «the Great meeting in Jerusalem,» and was organized by the Turkish party «Saadet».
According to Reuters, the rally was attended by about five thousand people. The participants the organizers were brought in by buses from all over the city.
Many of those present came to the meeting with Palestinian flags.
Note that the participants mostly expressed outrage at the imposition by Israel of additional security measures on the Temple mount. However, by Friday, July 28, Israel dismantled the metal detectors and video cameras that were installed after the attack, in which terrorists killed two Israeli policemen.
