German police used water cannons to suppress the riots that erupted during a demonstration of right-wing forces in Leipzig on 12 December. Several people were arrested.
As it became known, riots staged left-wing demonstrators protesting against the right of the March.
Leftists began throwing stones at police, and also to erect barricades in the streets near the demonstration. Was destroyed a bus stop and broken several Windows.
Police used in response tear gas, smoke grenades and water cannons.
Among the detainees was the priest of Lothar Koenig, a well-known activist of the anti-fascist movement.
