Police in the British city of Manchester, located in the North-East of the country, has described the burning of two kosher restaurants as «a crime committed motivated by hatred of Jews».

Both of these crimes were committed within five days in the area Prestwich, the target of arsonists have become restaurants «Taam» and JS. In the night of Friday, unidentified attackers threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of the first restaurant. However, the attempted arson failed, and then they broke the glass with a rock.
The second offence was committed on the morning of Tuesday the attackers doused the building in flammable mixture and set aflame. The fire was extinguished within an hour, the building suffered light damage.
The traces of these events, the police have increased their presence in the area.
