In Paris Thursday, July 6, held talks with Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.
As reported RIA Novosti, the main topics discussed were the situation in Syria and Ukraine.

As said the President of the Republic, and today I am again told Minister Lavrov – we would like to dialogue with Russia quickly moved into action in order to secure international peace and stability,» said Le Drian after talks with Lavrov.

According to Lavrov, he agreed with his French colleague that international terrorism is the number one enemy and to fight it, you must put aside everything else.
The parties also confirmed that advocate the complete destruction of chemical weapons in Syria in accordance with their earlier commitments.
Speaking about the situation in the Donbass, Le Drian stressed that France is ready to continue together with Germany to play an intermediary role with the aim of implementing the Minsk agreements.
Lavrov, in turn, has declared readiness of Russia to a meeting in the «channel format» in Ukraine, when all the participants agree on terms.
