Saudi Arabia’s king Salman bin Abdul-Aziz signed a decree on the creation of the first in the history of the monarchy of the club fans of camels. About it reports TV channel «al Arabiya».
The decree provides for the creation of North of Riyadh «camel village», where will be located a research Institute, and will be held folk festivals, dedicated to this animal.
The Chairman of the club will be the crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. The initiative should emphasize the importance of camels for the history and culture of Saudi Arabia.
Among the objectives of the club: the preservation of rare breeds of camels, the census of these animals, studies of camel diseases, carrying out of festivals dedicated to the «ships of the desert», bringing to activities.
We recall that in April 2017, in the framework of the world’s largest camel fair in the Kingdom held a beauty contest among the camels. The prize Fund amounted to $ 31 million.
