At the end of last week about the closure of 41 extended-day groups have declared tel Aviv the organization «be-Zahara-Yom».
In all cases, the reason for the closure is called by the Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlana reform of the «Family Net», in which the maximum cost of a state-subsidized after-school care is limited 935 shekels per month.
Includes work groups of the prolonged day with the end of the school day until 16:00 hours, as well as the clubs and educational classes. Because at the moment many day-care centers are open until 16:30-17:00 hours, reducing the time will create a serious problem for working parents who have to leave work half an hour earlier.
According to the Ministry of Finance, to date the base cost of stay at the day care center is 650 shekels a month for one child. The Ministry will allocate grants in accordance with the socio-economic situation of the municipality. So, in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Rahat, Safed, Netivot and Bnei Brak parents will need to pay only 50 NIS per child. But in Ofakim, Nazareth, acre, Lod, Ramle and Dimona, this amount of 300 shekels.
