The winner of youth championship of Europe on football (players under 21), which took place in Poland, was the German team.
In the final match, held in Krakow, the Germans beat the Spaniards 1:0.

The Germans started the game with dangerous attacks. On 7 minutes, Meyer headed the ball goalwards from the penalty line. The ball hit the post.
The Spaniards first dangerous moment was created on 12-th minute after a corner. After hitting the ball Zeballos head flew just over the bar.
In the first 15 minutes of the match the ball was hit several times in mesh with the outer side of the gate of the Spaniards.
The Spaniards promising attack on the edge which acted Asensio, Sandro, Deulofeu, Saul. But the German defenders in most cases have blocked or took out the ball from the free kick.
40 minutes Jeremy Toljan (Hoffenheim) hung. The former defender of Bayern’s Mitchell Weiser (Hertha BSC Berlin) shot. The ball on a high arc flew into the far corner, 1:0.
In the 58th minute, Saul from 20 metres took a dangerous shot. The goalkeeper rescued.
In the 62nd minute, Gnabry went one-on-one, but missed the goal.
On 72 minutes, Dani Ceballos rammed the German defense and shot from 20 metres. The ball flew just over the bar. In the 76th minute, Bellerin made a dangerous pass almost through all field. He gave the ball iñaki Williams. Followed by a return transfer. The final pass, after which could follow one-on-one, «bite» Kempf.
