In the Istanbul bus beaten by a student who was wearing shorts during Ramadan
21-year-old student Asen Melisa Saglam was the victim of the attack who was traveling with her in the same bus as men. The reason for the attack was her «insufficiently modest», but the view of the attacker, clothes.

He grabbed the student and threw it in the back of the bus, and then walked out. Shortly thereafter, the assailant was detained by the police. He said that the girl withdrew from him «provocative clothing». That was enough for release.
Human rights defenders and activists of women’s organizations expressed outrage that the man insulted and beaten girl, did it with impunity. Under public pressure, he was arrested again.
Opponents of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that such behavior is provoked by the actions of the authorities on the refusal of the traditional Turkish Republic’s secular values. They testify that the course authorities for the Islamization finds support among the people.
