In the Knesset submitted a bill authorizing the deportation of families of terrorists in Syria or Gaza. The bill was initiated by the Minister of transport and exploration Israel Katz submitted to the Knesset by Deputy David Bitanem.
The legislative initiative of the Israel Katz was supported by the representatives of the parties «Likud», «Bayt Yehudi», «Kulan», CHAS, «Jadot ha-Torah» and «Israel is Our home» and «Yesh Atid».
In comments to the draft law refers to the need to create effective deterrents to the growing wave of «terror singles». The law, if adopted, will be deported relatives of the terrorists had information about the impending attack or helping in the preparation, implementation of a terrorist attack, or aided the terrorist to escape justice.
The bill consists of two parts. In the first part of the law describes the process of revocation of citizenship or a residence permit on the territory of Israel. In the second part of the boundaries within which it is allowed to settle to the families of the terrorists and the process of their deportation from Judea and Samaria.
The Minister of transport and exploration Yisrael Katz called on the Knesset to support his initiative and to adopt the law as soon as possible. According to him, in the fight against «terror singles» is important not only to prevent terrorist attacks, but also the factor of deterrence.
