Israel police reported on changes in traffic in Jerusalem and also about strengthening of security measures on the night of 22 June, when Muslims will celebrate «the Night of al-Qadr».
It is expected that on this night, on the Temple mount will gather tens of thousands of Muslims for Friday prayers. The morning of June 21 will be strengthened patrol of streets in the Muslim quarter of the Old city. Patrol streets together with police and border guards will be involved hundreds of volunteers.
Law enforcement agencies appealed to the Muslims to strictly follow the instructions of security personnel and to comply with the order.
In connection with the influx of people, the police recommends not to come to the Old town by private transport.
From 03:00 to 06:30 will be off the streets of Sultan Suleiman, Wadi Joz, Derech, Jericho, Bin Adiya, Derech Shechem, DSL and Dean, Kvish and Ophel, AMR Ibn al-As.
From 14:00 to 15:00 will be closed to Boulevard Bar-Lev, in a northerly direction from the police headquarters.
