95-year-old John Glenn, the first American astronaut to orbital space flight, a former military pilot and Senator, was hospitalized in his native Ohio. The reason for the hospitalization is not known, according to NBC.
It is known that two years ago after heart surgery Glenn has had a stroke, but it is unknown what exactly is this hospitalization.
Despite the fact that John Glenn 25 years was a Senator from the Democratic party and previously as a military pilot she participated in world war II and in the Korean war, Glenn was most known for that in 1962 became the first American astronaut (and the third person in the world after Yuri Gagarin and German Titov) who has committed an orbital space flight.
