The FBI has detained an expert on computer security who stopped the virus from spreading WannaCry that struck hundreds of thousands of computers in different countries of the world.
According to the news Agency Reuters, we are talking about 23-year-old Marcus Hutchins from the UK. The programmer, who in may found a «switch» in the virus, was detained after the conference on computer security in Las Vegas (Nevada).
Hutchins is suspected of creating and distributing Trojan Kronos, with which the attackers obtained access to users ‘ personal data, including Bank details.
