30 October took place in Vienna negotiations on finding a peaceful settlement of the Syrian conflict. For the first time in the negotiations participated representatives of Iran. The regime of Bashar al-ASALA in the negotiations was not submitted.
EU high representative for foreign policy Federica Mogherini said Friday the talks «laid the foundations» for further dialogue.
In particular, during the negotiations the participants agreed on the necessity of forming a new «management», which is not sectoral, and inclusive, and to be credible. The parties also stressed that the next elections should involve all Syrian citizens, including the Diaspora.
In addition, the talks, the parties agreed to improve the delivery of humanitarian assistance to all Syrians in the country and abroad.
The victims of the civil war that began in 2011 were not less than 250 thousand people, and about 11 million Syrians have become refugees.
