Intel is going to hire fifteen hundred new workers to the plant in Kiryat gat. On Thursday, July 20, said CEO Yaniv Garti. According to him, during 2018, the plant will launch a new line for production of chips, reports TheMarker.
Currently, the company employs 6900 staff who are engaged in the development, and 3,300 employees engaged in production. Half of the workers of a factory in Kiryat gat live in the South of the country.
Garti also noted that in connection with the acquisition of Mobileye significant part of the activities of Intel in the next decade will be associated with cars. Recall that in the framework of a transaction concluded in March 2017, Intel has agreed to purchase the Mobileye for a record for Israel’s $ 15.3 billion.
