Representatives of the US administration claim that held on 21 November in the Islamic Republic of Iran tests ballistic missiles violate resolutions of the UN Security Council.
According to the Fox News channel
the missile was launched from a test site, located near the city of Chabahar in the area of the Pakistan border. We are talking about the missile «Qadr-110», with ranges of up to 2,000 kilometers and capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
Previous tests of the missile took place on 10 October. Launch of a ballistic missile has caused deep concern in the U.S., but President Barack Obama has said he will not allow the disruption agreement on the fate of the Iranian nuclear program because of this incident.
The resolution of the UN Security Council No. 1929, adopted in 2010, forbids Iran from carrying out ballistic missile tests. After signing the agreement, the security Council adopted resolution No. 2231, binding of Iran for eight years to refrain from testing these weapons.
