Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Monday, 25 January, embarks on a tour of Europe, during which he will visit Italy, Vatican and France.
As notes TASS, this is the first foreign visit by the Iranian President after the start of the «nuclear agreement».
Rouhani’s visit to Italy and France scheduled for November last year. But the trip was postponed because of the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November, the victims of which were 130 people.
During the visit of the Iranian President to Rome scheduled meetings with Rouhani, the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, as well as with businessmen and Industrialists of Italy. Hassan Rouhani will also be received by Pope Francis in the Vatican. January 27, Rouhani will arrive in Paris, where he will hold talks with French President Francois Hollande.
It is expected the signing of several agreements that will allow the resumption of economic cooperation of Iran with Italy and France, which was interrupted after the introduction of international sanctions.
