The permanent representative of Israel to the UN Danny Danon in the night of Thursday, 25 February, sent a letter to UN Secretary General, ban Ki-moon, demanding to condemn the statement of the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad-Ali fateha on cash payments to families of Palestinian terrorists.
According to Danon, the UN should prevent the financing of terror Tehran.
As previously reported, on February 24, amid new terror wave in Israel, the Iranian Embassy in Beirut issued a statement on the payment of bonuses and compensations to the families of Palestinian terrorists.
Iran promised the families of the victims of the terrorists prize in the amount of $ 7,000. The relatives of «martyrs» whose homes would destroy the Israeli authorities promised compensation in the amount of 30 thousand dollars.
The message was read out by Iranian Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Ali Fathom.
A few weeks ago the Deputy Chairman of the Politburo of the terrorist organization Hamas Mousa Abu marzouk in an interview with the Saudi newspaper «al-Sharq al-Awsat» called false statements about Tehran’s support for «Palestinian resistance». In particular, he said that Iran has withdrawn its support from Hamas in 2009.
If Tehran really intends to Fund the families of Palestinian terrorists, this, apparently, means that the Iranian authorities intend to transfer money to these families directly, and not pass them the leadership of Hamas or Fatah. Perhaps this decision is due to the fear that funds will be stolen or their use for other purposes.
