Anti-Israel activists tried to disrupt the lecture of former Vice-Prime Minister of Israel Dan Meridor at the University of London, calling him a «war criminal», and his country – «state of terror».
About it writes on Wednesday, February 14, the London newspaper the Jewish Chronicle.
Meridor, who served as Deputy Prime Minister in the Netanyahu government in the period from 2003 to 2009, spoke last Tuesday at the Royal College with a lecture entitled «Threats and challenges». The protesters accused him of disrupting the peace process initiated by former us Secretary of state John Kerry.
Listeners told The Jewish News that they had been at the event, threats and insults, and at the end of the lecture I had to call the police. The College refutes this information.
