Israel’s Supreme court rejected an appeal by Russian citizen Gleb grotovskogo, the suspect in Russia in sexual crimes against minors. As reported by RIA Novosti lawyer Haim Eisenkot, the court held that Grotowski should be extradited to Russia.
According to Eisenkot, in the Arsenal of defense still has the legal means to challenge the extradition, but refused to specify, about what there is a speech.
Grotowski guilt still does not recognise and insists on his innocence.
The decision to extradite grotovskogo in Russia was made by the district court of Jerusalem over a year ago, January 19 2015.
Grotowski was detained September 21, 2014 at the monastery in the Galilee. Then the international Department of gorprokuratury filed in the Jerusalem district court a petition to approve his extradition to Russia. Protection Grotowski claimed that he is being persecuted for political and religious reasons.

According to the Russian investigative authorities, in June 2013 the hotel, located on the territory of children’s camp of Orthodox club of travelers «Philadelphia» on the island of KOs in Greece, Grotowski had committed «violent acts of a sexual nature» against two girls 9 and 12 years.
Grotowski rejects the accusations, calling them «slander». He claimed that the parents of the girls threatened with jail.
In September 2013, Grotowski came to Israel as a tourist and, by virtue of its Jewish origin, was asked to grant him citizenship. Citizenship Grotowski was denied, and the Israeli authorities asked him to leave the country. The priest filed a lawsuit in the high court of appeals against the decision of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the decision on his case is pending. In November of 2013 in Russia was issued a warrant for the arrest of Grotowski. In April 2014 the Prosecutor General’s office has sent Israel a request for his extradition.
