A major American Jewish philanthropist Isaac Fisher announced the termination of funding for all its projects in Israel because of the actions of the Israeli government.
Anger Fisher called the decision to revoke the compromise plan allocation site at the Western Wall for a joint prayer, as well as the position of the government regarding the law on the convert to Judaism.
Among other things, Fisher announced the termination of the special Israeli bonds, the freezing of donations to the tel-Aviv University and Yeruham, as well as the cancellation of a number of other projects.
In addition, Fisher is going to suspend its activities in the influential Jewish lobby AIPAC.
In a letter to Knesset member Michael Oren Fisher wrote that the Israeli government must understand – it is responsible for the entire Jewish people, writes the Jerusalem Post
According to Oren, Fisher is the only one who has publicly announced his plans, however, some major philanthropists have informed him that the actions of the Israeli government will not remain without consequences.
