Kobi Alexander allowed to serve his sentence in Israel

Internal security Minister Gilad Erdan and Minister of justice Ayelet shaked granted the petition of businessman Kobi Alexander to allow him to serve his sentence at home.

Israeli businessman Kobi Alexander, one of the founders of Comverse, was in February 2017 sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for securities fraud.

He was declared the FBI most wanted list in August 2006. Hiding from justice, he fled to Namibia. In September 2006 he was arrested by local police but was later released on bail to 1.3 million dollars.
