13-time world champion in motorcycling, one of the best riders in the history of the sport ángel Nieto died on 3 August from a brain edema in a hospital in Ibiza, reports the British newspaper the Mirror.
On 26 July he had an accident on a Quad bike, after which he was hospitalized.
A week the doctors fought for the life of 70-year-old legendary racer, but to save him failed.
Angel Nieto won 90 Grand Prix events (this is the third result in history) and 13-time champion of the world (second in history).
It is named after one of the turns of the race track and the Jerez Museum in Madrid.
