London May Fair hotel refused to show the documentary on Palestinian terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life sentences in an Israeli prison, according to the British online publication of Jewish News.
The film was supposed to show Sunday, April 23 – in the event the prisoners Day organized by the Fatah movement-Britain and the General Union of Palestinian communities in Europe and in solidarity with 6.500 terrorists sitting in Israeli prison and on hunger strike.
Recall that on the same day Israel celebrates the Day of memory of victims of the Holocaust.
The representative of The hotel chain Thistle Hotels, which owns the May Fair hotel, commented on this information in the following way: «Recently the Palestinian authority has approached us with a proposal to hold a private screening at the May Fair Theatre. We considered the request in a regular manner and carried out a standard check, and then decided not to promote this event.»
