The British newspaper Sunday Mirror and the Daily Mail write Sunday, February 11, at the beginning of the month in London’s Heathrow airport has hired 31-year-old Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamud, which was enabled by the intelligence services on the list of suspects of involvement in terrorist activities.
In publications it is noted that Mohamud, who used 17 different «aliases», managed to pass the test of the security services of the airport and get a job as a porter in the lounge first class Terminal 3, despite what has previously been convicted of robbery, money laundering, threats and violence and was suspected of assisting terrorist organizations. He spent five years in prison.
Mohamud managed to work in Heathrow for five days. During this time he repeatedly posted to social networks pictures of aircraft taken at close range. According to him, he had access to the airfield.
Once security was established the real identity of the hired porter, he was deprived of temporary permits and was fired.
In the administration of the Heathrow emphasize that formal instruction was not violated: this new employee has always been accompanied by security personnel of the airport, so he couldn’t cause any harm.
