On Friday, March 30, Politburo member of the terrorist organization Hamas Musa Abu marzouk visited Moscow and met with the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov, according to the Oriental Express, with reference to the Russian foreign Ministry.
As noted on the website of the foreign Ministry, «during the conversation a detailed exchange of views on issues of the Palestinian-Israeli peace process with emphasis on the importance of quickly reaching inter-Palestinian reconciliation.»
Was also «noted the importance of continuing efforts to consolidate Palestinian ranks on the political platform of the PLO as the necessary conditions for practical realization of the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state.»
The Russian side was expressed «deep concern at the reported increase in the number of victims and injured in the Gaza strip as a result of measures by the Israeli army to curb the protests of the Palestinians, which started on 30 March».
