Mexican state oil company Pemex (Petroleos Mexicanos) has purchased a mobile surveillance system pipelines Stalker Tiger and Israeli production, according to the Milenio website.
The publication notes that these Israeli systems allow real-time to provide around the clock control pipeline with surveillance cameras installed on the truck, and with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The need for purchasing such systems is caused by numerous cases of theft of petroleum products.
Recall that in December 2014, Israel and Mexico signed a cooperation agreement in the field of research and development, under which both States agreed to subsidize a joint study of Israeli and Mexican companies. The contract concerned research and development in the field of water management, agriculture in arid areas, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, electronics and communication. Mexico became the first country in Central America to sign such an agreement with Israel. Earlier similar agreements were signed with several countries in South America, including Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
