On the morning of Tuesday, July 4, U.S. Independence Day, at the airport named after Ben Gurion, the plane landed in new York, on Board of which arrived in Israel 201 immigrant from America.
The youngest passenger of flight only six weeks old and the oldest – 82 years. Among the new arrivals 34 couples, 78 children under the age of 17 years (including 5 pairs of twins), 50 spinster, 14 boys and girls who decided to pass alternative service in the IDF, the press service of the Ministry of aliyah and integration.
Many immigrants arrived from the United States on 4 July, have academic degrees and are in demand in Israel a speciality. Among them are doctors, engineers, programmers, hardware engineers, teachers, social workers, financial advisors, lawyers, athletes and artists. 47 people decided to settle in small cities and towns in the periphery of Israel, the rest in major cities in the centre, South and North of the country.
The Minister of aliyah and integration, Landwehr, welcoming new immigrants from the United States, said that their arrival in Israel has contributed to the organization «Nefesh be-Nefesh».
