As of the morning of 13 October, California authorities have confirmed the death of 31 people as a result of forest fires in the North of the state, reports ABC News. Hundreds of people (according to various estimates, from 400 to 600) are missing.
The fire had destroyed about 3,500 homes.
In three counties – NAPA, SONOMA, and Yuba authorities introduced a state of emergency.
Tens of thousands of residents of Northern California were evacuated. And the state government continue to call for an evacuation of settlements, the spread of flame.
