At least one person was killed and three were injured as a result of mortar shelling of Central Damascus opponents of regime of Bashar al-Assad. According to the Agency SANA, the attack was from the enclave of Eastern ghouta.
The Agency States that the previous mortar attack on the capital by militants was carried out on 1 February. Then injured 15 people in the capital. Syria’s armed forces returned fire to the terrorists.
The Russian RIA Novosti news Agency claims that two fatalities. The fire was on the distribution points of humanitarian aid, in close proximity to churches of various Christian denominations.
It is noted that the Russian delegation was 100 metres from the blast, but Russian citizens were not injured and were evacuated to a safe place.
