Moscow hospitals are willing to independently provide funeral services, write Tuesday, December 8, the Russian media and, in particular, the publication of RBC, which refers to the newspaper «Kommersant» a source in the company involved in the funeral.
The representative of the Moscow Union of funeral organizations funeral and service capital (CORPUS) Andrey Stoskov explains this intention that in the current health care reform in Moscow doctors try to increase the profitability of their institutions. «We are talking about services for preparing the body to the funeral», – the newspaper quotes Stoskova.
The newspaper reminds that in accordance with the law «About burial and funeral business» the majority of these services, which include storage of the body for 14 days, wash after the autopsy, the clothing, laying in a coffin and the issuance of a corpse, is free.
Pathology Department of hospitals intend to conclude a contract on rendering paid services: embalming, removal of post-mortem defects, makeup, hairdressing, shaving.
