Knesset member Menachem Eliezer Moses («yaadut Torah») in an interview with NEWSru.co.il denied publication, according to which the ultra-Orthodox agreed to a compromise on the question of law on appeal: «I heard the message and laughed loudly. While we have not seen the text of the bill, what kind of compromise can be said? When we will receive it, contact the Council of Torah scholars. They say such decisions».
MP Moses said that the fundamental compromise in any case will not. «The law on conscription is the basis of coalition agreements, which need to be fulfilled. But if would be acceptable for the bill, and if our coalition partners will sign a pledge to vote for the bill in the second and third reading during the summer session, we agree to confine a preliminary reading and vote for the budget,» he said.
According to the Deputy of Moses, such a commitment may not be signed by the head of Yisrael Beiteinu and Minister of defense Avigdor Lieberman. «I want to remind you that Lieberman did not sign the coalition agreement, which stipulates the adoption of the law on appeal. Lieberman joined the government later. Lieberman was not at the wedding, and he should not bring her gifts. The law can be taken without him,» said Menachem Eliezer Moses.
Speaking about the possibility of withdrawal of Yisrael Beiteinu from the coalition, the MP Moses reminded that the first year the coalition has worked without Yisrael Beiteinu. «In any case, about it to speak early» – he added.
Commenting on the disagreements within the faction «yaadut-Torah», the Deputy of Moses said, «we decided not to argue about not hatched out of the egg. When will the bill will the text – then argue. But the differences, if there are, will affect how to act. On the fact there is no disagreement», – he said.
