Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko intends to run for presidential elections. She stated this in an interview with «Commander in chief», published on Thursday, July 27.
«To participate in the presidential campaign, in fact, little need: 2.5 million to sign up. Open Fund and honestly said: I’m raising money for the presidency. Part I will take, and how to continue — we will see», — said the Deputy.
Savchenko also intends to participate in the next parliamentary elections, and it will lead to their own party. «I declare such a concept: people who were in power, no longer needs to be there. People who were members of at least one convocation, should no longer be deputies never. They can be advisors, assistants, deputies,» she added.
According to the politician, democracy in Ukraine is discredited. «People need to show what black and white to behind the screen new it’s old. It is necessary to show the contrast — to create something unlike what we have today», — believes Savchenko.
Presidential and parliamentary elections should be held in Ukraine in 2019. In July, the justice Ministry registered a new party «political platform of Hope Savchenko».
