Tuesday, January 30, the newspaper «Yediot Ahronot» has published an article which asserted that the legal adviser to the government does not allow police investigators to question Netanyahu for «submarines».
Shortly thereafter, the Ministry of justice has published a refutation. «It is not true that allegedly the police investigators sent legal adviser to the government’s request to question the Prime Minister for taking testimony in the case of submarines, and the resolution was not received. Such petition at the moment has not received the legal adviser of the government or the Prosecutor’s office. In this regard, the published message is completely false.»
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his blog on Facebook commented on the scandal, accusing the «Yediot Ahronot» publishing false information.
«Here is another example of fake news as it happens almost daily in the campaign of denigration, the purpose of which no election to lead to the resignation led me to the government of Likud. Contrary to the opinion of the media society is sane and understands what’s trying to do. And this time they do not help. You know why,» wrote the head of government.
