On Thursday evening, March 16, in Jerusalem there was the second meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jason Greenblatt, special envoy of the President of the United States in the middle East.
After the meeting, the parties issued a joint statement in which inter alia stated: «during the meeting they discussed concrete steps to strengthen the economy of the Palestinian authority». It is also noted that the head of government and representative of the US administration continued to discuss the parameters of the construction in Judea and Samaria. In this issue, progress has been made, and according to the report, the discussion will continue next week.
Barak Ravid writes in ha’aretz that the meeting lasted more than three hours. The last meeting between Netanyahu and Greenblatt, held on 12 March, lasted five hours.
As previously reported, on March 16 Jason Greenblatt met in Jerusalem with the head of the local Council of Efrat Oded, Revive and head of the Samaria regional Council Yossi Dagan.
