Netanyahu informed the Ministers that will fly to Liberia without them

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, departing in the evening on Saturday in Liberia to attend the ECOWAS summit, informed energy Minister Yuval Steinitz, agriculture Minister URI Ariel and Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Tzipi Hotovely that will travel to Monrovia without them.

As the portal NRG, the decision to cut the delegation was made in connection with the short duration of the visit, Netanyahu will stay in Monrovia in just 8 hours, then fly back to Israel.

The economic community of West African countries (ECOWAS) is a regional economic Union, one of 8 regional African communities, it is composed of 15 countries: Liberia, côte d’ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal and Togo.

Netanyahu will speak at the summit at the invitation of the President of Liberia, Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson, and will be thus the first non-African leader to participate in the summit of ECOWAS.
