Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with representatives of the Nativ-Avot and Chairman of the municipal Council of Judea and Samaria Channeler of Dorani, head of the Council of gush Etzion Shlomo Neeman, head of the Council of Mate Binyamin, AVI Rohe and the Secretary-General «Amani» by ze’ev Haver. The meeting was held after today’s meeting of the government, which had approved the construction of the Nativ-Avot.
Prime Minister Netanyahu congratulated the participants on successful the situation and thanked the head of its office of Yoav Horowitz and Ronen Peretz, member of the Secretariat of the government, which has been working to find solutions. The participants of the meeting thanked Prime Minister Netanyahu and the government for the decision and activities for the benefit of settlers.
We will remind that on 25 February the government approved the project of construction of 350 housing units for residents of the Outpost Nativ-Avot in gush Etzion hosts whose homes will be destroyed. In addition, the government has allocated a budget of $ 29 million shekels for the construction of the new district on the site 91 as a temporary solution for the residents of the Outpost. This money will also be paid compensation to families who evacuated from the Outpost.
Outpost Nativ-Avot is a quarter of settlement of Elazar. The Nativ-Avot at least 30 buildings. According to the decision of the high Court, 17 of them were intended for demolition. 29 November 2017 security forces destroyed the first building on the territory of the Outpost Nativ-Avot – a big joiner’s workshop.
