Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during Sunday’s government meeting about his intention to seek a dissolution of commissions for candidate search and return to Ministers the right to appoint officials.
«We chose to run the country. The appointment of officials is one of the aspects of management. If the Minister cannot appoint officials, it should not be a Minister. If he bad appointed officials, he will pay for it in the elections», — said the Prime Minister.
The position Netanyahu has the support of the Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Minister of justice Ayelet shaked who seek the opportunity to remove officials, heads of regulatory bodies.
Kahlon sought the resignation of the Director of the office of state-owned companies URI yogev.
