Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will become the first Israeli leader to visit with official visit to the Republic of Fiji.
The decision to visit this Pacific island nation, Netanyahu announced during a speech at the conference of Jewish federations.
Earlier it was reported that in early 2017, Netanyahu will travel on official visits to Singapore and Australia. Apparently, the visit to Fiji would be added to this tour.
The invitation to visit Fiji Netanyahu received from the Prime Minister of this country Frank Minibar who visited Israel in early November of this year. Minibar, among other things, visited the locations of the Fijian contingent in the UN force in the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan heights and in Lebanon.
