The Association of car importers on Tuesday, February 6, has released data on the Israeli primary car market in January 2018.
According to these data, last month the local dealers sold 39.019 new cars, which is 13% lower than a year earlier.
The sales leader was the Hyundai brand. In January was implemented 6.297 car of this brand. In comparison with an indicator of January 2017 Hyundai sales dropped 4%.
In second place is another Korean brand – Kia – 4.368 machines sold (-11%). Third place went to Toyota (3.053; -40%). The five best-selling brands included Mazda (2.799; +0.5%) and Skoda (2.705; -27%).
Among premium brands leading Mercedes-Benz (1.145). Followed by Audi (1.028) and BMW (508).
