On the night of 31 December 2015 1 January 2016 in nearly 90 towns of Israel, from Nahariya to Eilat, will run night bus, said the press service of the Ministry of transport.
Buses will deliver everyone in entertainment centers, and back home since the night of Thursday, December 31 until 4:00 am January 1, 2016. Instructors, consultants, representatives of the traffic police and Management of road safety will offer it to all celebrating the New year not to sit behind the wheel of a car, and return home by public transport.
They will direct interested people to the bus stop, located near entertainment centers, hand out schedules and maps of the routes of night buses, as well as to propose celebrating invigorating coffee.
As you know, night bus routes operate on weekends, during school holidays and eves of public holidays, and an annual throughput of hundreds of thousands of young people, students, soldiers and workers at night. The cost of the ticket — regular price for journey in public transport in the daytime.
According to the Ministry of transport, last year, the overnight buses have used 700 thousand passengers across the country. Studies have shown that in localities where the project works, the number of accidents has decreased significantly.
