In the night of Monday, November 20, in the Pacific ocean near the coast of New Caledonia, an earthquake of magnitude of 7.3, reports the US Geological survey (USGS).
The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 70 km northeast of the city of Tadin. The focus lies at a depth of 25 kilometers.
Published a warning of a possible tsunami.

The previous strong earthquake in the area was recorded on October 30-31.
