The Syrian regime has won a new diplomatic victory: in accordance with the peace plan proposed by the UN that Sunni militants are leaving close to the Lebanese border town of Zabadani. The settlement, fights over which went for months, came under the control of the authorities.
The agreement was brokered by Iran, supports the Assad regime, and Turkey, helping the Islamists. All the fighters are taken out on buses in Turkey. The agreement allows them to return to Syria to participate in hostilities.
