The police on Wednesday, June 28, detained the son of one of the Knesset members on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons.
During a search at the suspect’s house and the adjacent territory was discovered by police hunting rifle.
As stated by the lawyer of the detainee, said his client denies that the gun belongs to him. According to the lawyer, the weapon was not found in the apartment of his client, and a vacant lot next to the house.
In the evening, after the interrogation, the suspect, whose name was not reported, was released from custody and placed under house arrest for five days.
The investigation is ongoing.
